The story of our company, which started with shock production, took an important step in 2008 with the launch of the semi-automatic hunting rifle MX5, which is a turning point in the industry, by combining hunting passion and industrial experience. In 2016, Mertmak set a new standard by launching a product that meets the needs of the Defense Industry. Developed with the company's innovative and effective design approach, the semi-automatic shotgun with 16+1 magazine offers an ideal solution for home defense and close defense purposes. In 2021, the company started construction of a modern factory to support its growth and expansion strategies. This construction would enable Mertmak to target a wider market by increasing its production capacity and would also support R&D/P&D activities.
In 2022, with the completion of the new factory, Mertmak started production activities in its modern facilities. At the same time, R&D/P&D departments were established and efforts for continuous innovation and development accelerated.
